Q: Hello. The description doesn’t state max weight per shelf. In previous questions about that, one reply was 14 pounds per shelf, the other was 50 per shelf.

Q: If I' like a taller shelf, can I opt to just not install one of the shelves or will that not work for the whole bookcase to be assembled?

Bookshelf looks good, fairly easy to assemble. It's a little more wobbly than I expected though, most definitely will need to be secured to a wall.

Poor quality, was very disappointed in this bookcase. Assembled one, and it was so wobbly I was afraid if I put anything on it, it would fall over. I think the fact that it doesn’t have an actual back other than the metal x’s keeps it from being sturdy. Disassembled it and am sending it back. At this price point it shouldn’t be this poor quality.

I mean you get what you pay for but please take this review into consideration before you buy it. Easy assembly, “wood” seems tough but this thing wobbles so much. I doubt it’ll last long which is disappointing considering how cute it is.

Arrived broken! Bought it to match the media center and end tables and opened the box and a shelf was complete cracked in half. Had to call target customer service 3 times in one day to figure out how to return it. I wanted then to send a replacement since I bought it on sale but they told me it was out of stock. However, the next day it was in stock but now back to the higher price.
