Q: The “oak” on the farm of this shelf, is it Solid oak, or is it oak veneer? I’d like this exact shelf, but in a darker stain color. I didn’t see any other available colors, so I’m considering stripping it and refinishing it

Had been looking for something similar for some time. This was extremely easy to assemble and even without the instructions it seemed pretty self explanatory as to what to do. The steps were very easy since not much is required to do with this. The brown triangle wood was connected via a hinge I believe so its basically just the white slats that need to be screwed on. Felt pretty sturdy to me. Also came with some extra parts to bolt to wall if desired for extra safety. I am actually considering on purchasing another for my living room since its good quality for the price point and also looks very good in any space!

it looks great in my bedroom. i've been looking for a bookcase to match my room, and this one is perfect. it was so easy to put together. it took me and my mom (who have no experience building furniture) ten minutes to put it together. the wood part (the brown ladder part) comes put together already, so all you have to do is place the shelves. it is also more stable than i thought it would be. it probably cannot fit anything too heavy, but when my two year old sister climbed onto the bottom shelf she survived and the shelf didn't collapse.

As advertised, this shelving unit will not hold a lot of weight. I didn't need something super sturdy, so this was right for the price. Bonus that it looks very cute and stylish!
