Q: Does each fixture require 6 solar batteries? Specs say "These weather-resistant solar path lights require 6 AA nickel metal hydride batteries". Not sure that is one per light, or 6 per light.

A: I have these lights on my front walkway and LOVE them! I am on year 2 for some of mine and the batteries (regular) do die out and I replace with new AA batteris. I get a big pack at Costco/Sams.

Q: How do these hold up with rain? It looks like a regular lightbulb in there, which is the only thing that is concerning. has anybody experienced a heavy downpour and know how their lights held up?

A: frequent target shopper - We really appreciate your interest in this item, The top cap can be lifted straight up from the lens frame to allow access to the battery door and tab. Some styles can be removed by pulling up and other require the top cap be to turned counter-clockwise and lifted. I hope this helps. - Kate

I have had these for a year. They are garbage. They won't stay on very long. It is was a cloudy day, I was lucky to get them to stay on for 3 hours. The plastic is very very thin. It was really windy one day and I saw one of the bases crack and the top fell right off. I bought 2 sets of these and only 2 lights don't have damage. I used black duct tape to try to repair some of them and reinforce the others. Don't waste your time and money.

Do not buy, after 6 months of use mine are dead. To begin with never charge and illuminate for 6 hours like the box stated. Maybe 4 hours tops. You hope for better. You hope they are going to work but they don’t. Now it is 6 months later. I can’t return them to Target. Much better options on Amazon.

Initially I loved these lights. They were easy to set up & looked wonderful, I even bought 2 more bundles. However, in less than 6 months ALL have broken in some capacity. I don’t even understand how this could happen, but I cannot recommend these at all.

They look nice and work well but are SO cheaply made. After a couple months, every single one has a broken shaft and is being held together by electrical tape. Would only recommend if you’re strictly on a budget and willing to repair / replace them within a year

I think this is. A great price point if you’re not looking for forever lights. They are often fallen over in my garden and there’s no real a reason as to why. They are pretty cheap. But they do the job.

Good value, good quality. Other reviews made me cautious of it breaking while putting it into the ground, however the post and the spike are two separate pieces and we found it easier to put the spike in the ground first before assembling, and we had no issues or breaks. We don’t get the best sunlight, so some of the lights we have noticed start to turn back off around 11:30/midnight. However I don’t think this is a product issue, and for us they are still worth it to have some extra light after sundown.

Great design, but terrible quality. I broke two just putting them on the stake gently. It was practically impossible le to get them to sit straight. I superglued broken ones multiple times, but they broke other places just from every day wind. One of the lights also just never worked.
