70" 5 Shelf Bookcase - Sauder

I purchased it for my living room so I could get rid of some old movie shelves that didn't work well. Now I have space for the movies, books and some other stuff. Put it together by myself in 2hrs.

It looks good in my study and is very sturdy.

I ordered four Sauder Select 5-shelf bookcases. I do like them very much. They are set against a wall to replace the built in bookcases in the home I moved from. They look very handsome and regal. The directions were very easy to follow, but are the bookcases are difficult at one point for a one-person job. Turning the bookcase over and keeping it together while doing so is. two person job. Installing the movable shelves was very easy. Finished and standing, although there are little uneven spots due to the readjustments after turning the bookcases over, they do look very nice. One other note. I chose Washington Cherry for its lighter color, but the bookcases are darker than I expected, still beautiful, but quite striking against the wall. As they fill with books, I'm sure the look will be more subtle. I plan to buy two more bookcases, but am hoping for an another sale. Thank you for offering these lovely products.

I purchased two of these bookcases. They were fun to put together because the instructions were absolutely wonderful. I had a little trouble with the first one because only about half of the parts had letters on them to identify the parts that were mentioned in the instructions. It would be a lot better if all of the parts were identified. The second one was a breeze to assemble.

I purchased two of these books cases. The first one was somewhat frustrating as not all of the pieces were marked, took a little trial and error to figure which peace went where. The second one went much easier as I was able to separate to pieces in a more logical manner. When finished they feel very strong and look good.

This worked great in my office at home. Able to put picture books and other books on this nice case. Prefect size and sturdy once put together. Love the color and the ability to adjust the shelves where needed.

It is well designed.

The product took a while to assemble and is made from cheaper wood.. but it's pretty decent overall.. just cheaply constructed.

Shelf is used to hold state books in school library. The shelf has already had a lot of use over several weeks and has proven to be a great replacement for old shelf unit.

I purchased two of these bookcases for my home office. I assembled the product on my own; the instructions were simple and the assembly was easy but took a while. They look great!

Great product and great step by step instructions. I loved the optional steps of make some nachos and take a nap. All directions were spot on and the isometric diagrams were very helpful. There were a few parts that weren't labeled so had to compare the diagrams to the parts. But other than that, not a single problem.

I really like how sturdy it is and the look of it.

It looks really nice all assembled. It took me about an hour and a half to put together but the instructions were very detailed and helpful. I will be buying another for my bedroom it just looks so good. 10/10 would and will buy again.

I love this bookcase! The shelves are very strong holding lots of books and decor. I love the chalked chestnut color and only have one complaint…I have been wanting to buy another one as the shelves are on my current one are getting overcrowded lol (still going strong though!) but unfortunately for me it's been out of stock for months! I wanted to get another one before Christmas but it said it wouldn't be available until 1-16-25, feeling disappointed again after checking the date again and discovering that now it won't be available until 1-22-25…

Finished product looks great and perfect for the space. Assembly and instructions were easy to follow. Liked the individual hardware packaging.
