A: Experience and capability can cause assembly times to vary considerably. Some models can be assembled in an hour or two, while others may take several hours. Don’t get us wrong — the assembly process is relatively simple but can be time–consuming. The more experience you have with our furniture, the faster the job will go. Working with someone/bribery is also a great way to cut down on your workload.

A: Each of the 3 adjustable shelves in the 71" Beginnings Bookcase with Doors has a weight limit of 25 lbs. The two fixed shelves have a weight limit of 35 lbs and the bottom has a weight limit of 50 lbs.

This was a good value for the price. The doors went on easily and look very nice. Our only complaint is that the cardboard back needs to be heavier material. While assembling the backs, the cardboard started to tear along the fold lines at the edges. We used reinforcing tape to solve the problem, but quality of this component needs to be improved.

So I’m a visual person and I really wanted to see a picture review before buying this but no one posted any and I decided to take a chance and buy it anyways!!! best decision I ever made! it’s soooos sturdy like it’s not a weak shelf at all!!! So much space and so beautiful! It came marked by letters to help you find and build. My brother build it for me shout out to him🩷🩷

Good price but poor quality. Arrived with a broken piece. The cracked corner faces the front of the shelf so it’s visible even when assembled. Check all pieces before assembling.

I had previously bought the L shaped desk from this collection by Sauder, and got these bookshelves to match as part of my home office. They are good quality, relatively easy to put together, and the price is very affordable considering how stylish it is and when you compare to other brands! For anyone wondering the bottom doors are a bit tricky to get straight, so that would be my only criticism for this furniture piece is that there are no leveling adjustments with the hinges. Lastly, quick shipping from OH to CO took just about 3 days, well packaged as always, no damage. Thank you Sauder!

A nice-looking bookcase for my arts and crafts room. I assembled it on my 80th birthday. Took me all day, but not TOO difficult. All the parts were there and everything lined up perfectly. It would have been a snap for me to put it together 10 years ago.

Love the bookcase however followed the directions letter by letter and it leaves an unfinished edge at the top making looking down at it a distraction
