I bought the items because of good reviews, despite a few said about low quality. Got it in today, beautiful color and proceeded to assembly it step-by-step. The bookcase is complete and look beautiful on the floor, I pushed it up into the wall where its final location, snapped, the bookcase fell and broken into 2 pieces where the connection point at.

Very very poor quality - I followed the instructions and parts that came pre-put together broke off. I attempted to fix it with the provided glue and when I stood it up it cracked in 3 other places. Completely unusable

The color wasn't as bright white as I was thinking, but they still look nice in the room next to our white floor/door trim. We anchored to the wall and they seem pretty strong/durable, just need to watch the weight of items on the shelves.

I ordered two of these "lean-to" shelves and I love them. I ordered the Teal colored ones and the color is a wonderful shade of "teal" (A bluish-green TEAL). The shelves were well packed and easy to assemble. The paint job is outstanding! I recommend these shelves

While I love the design of the shelf, it’s way too expensive for the poor quality of it. Most of the shelves were chipped from the cheap particle board and since it took over a week to get to my house once it was shipped - it was too much of a hassle to return. If it was something I could get in the store I may feel differently. Easy to assemble though!

I am so disassociated by this shelf. It fits perfectly in the space and looks adorable from far away. The problem is that I didn’t notice until it was already halfway put together than several shelves were damaged. It was going to be more work to disassemble and return than it was worth it so I’m stuck with it.

This bookshelf is very poor quality. The dowels provided for install are substandard. They were dry and broke when inserted. The shelf fell apart ...we used the glue and screws that was included to no avail. Very disappointed. After assembling it we had to disassemble and take the time to return the shelf. I would boggy recommend this item to anyone.

Arrived well packaged and protected. Very simple assembly with great instructions. I was impressed with this because so often when you have to put something together, the directions are poorly translated from a foreign language, the screw holes don't line up, and you have to struggle to make it work. This was totally the opposite. The instructions were clear, everything slid together and lined up perfectly. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that, although sturdy, they are not high end furniture. But great product for the price.

The item description mentions several times there is wood in it. The only wood in the items are the side rails and dowels. We bought it and got it half put together and the pressed paper shelf just cracked and fell off. Contacted Convenience Concepts as per the instructions in the box, to be told that they do not have the parts and need to contact the company who sold the item. So one week later got the replacement item from Target. com and put all the good pieces in to one book case. Upon attaching to the wall the top shelf began to crack. This Item is a piece of junk. We are stuck with it till we can buy one made of real wood for about thirty more dollars. Neither Target or Convenience Concepts have attempted to contact us about the quality of the item they sell. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF PRESSED PAPER MADE TO LOOK LIKE WOOD.

I had a hard time figuring out what review to give this shelf. It is an amazing color and overall has a great appearance. The instructions are very good as well (each type of screw and dowel have a separate bag and is labeled). However, the screws that hold the two sides on the shelf are not super secure so make sure to use a lot of wood glue on the dowels and wait for it to dry (glue is provided). Also, the color scratches off very easily (put a scratch on mine during assembly). Bottom leg for stability does not even reach floor but it isn't necessary with wall anchors. Overall I would say the quality reflects the price.

This is nice. It is large and looks expensive when you don't look to closely. But, after setting it up I was lifting it to make it stand and it broke. Very very mad. One of the ledges is broke one of the side bean.

I was excited about this shelf, but during assembly it broke when my husband an I were attempting to turn it onto it's side to attach the remaining side. The shelf comes with glue, but doesn't indicate where it should be used. It obviously needs to be glued where all the dowels are located and in the two side sections. The shelf could use reinforcement on the sides, which I had planned on doing before it broke at the built in dowel and there was no fixing it. I ended up taking the whole thing apart and returning it. Target took it back without any issues ( I am thankful). My advice is: use the glue and keep shelf on it's back when assembling, because it is very unstable.

This is a nice shelf but the dimensions listed on here are WRONG! Didn't fit where I wanted it because of it. It's actually 25" wide and 15 3/4" deep at the deepest (the bottom shelf). Customer service was NOT helpful in remedying the situation - they said that I had to return the item in order to get a refund which requires complete disassembly and mailing of this item which is not an easy task (requires me paying someone to disassemble it after paying for the assembly which would be the price of the item anyway at that point...). Would be a good shelf if it fit the space, but I won't be shopping with target again.

I purchased this shelf in white and I love it. Great quality and a nice piece of furniture for any room. There is a way to anchor the shelf to the wall, which is nice depending on what you're using it for.

The dimensions of this shelf are off from what is advertised. I have notified Target and hopefully they will fix. In the meantime - Target's customer service is terrible and to get a refund, I have to disassemble the shelf and return it in person to a Target store. This cheap shelf has turned out to be a headache and I will not order from Target again.
