Assembly was a challenge. Some of the bottom pieces were not marked and written instructions were a little difficult to follow. I would suggest you follow the video before assembling this bookcase. I would love to order another one, but I just don't want go through the trouble of assembling. Truly appreciated the free shipping and the fast delivery.

During the early 80's, I put together Sauder Entertainment Furniture and recognized their quality back then. I recently bought a Sauder bookcase and a desk over 40 years later. Still the best workmanship !

One of my columns (vertical molding M) has a part of the finish that is lifting. I won't let anyone dust because it is ready to chip a pice right off! For the cost this should not be a problem!

I purchased 4 Library with doors (412019) There was one location where the Twist-Lock didn't line up Parts A (Step1) with C2 (Step 9) by about 1/2 inch. This repeated with all 4 units. 5 stars otherwise.

The library will be used to display pictures and mementos on the open shelves and books in the lower section. Packaging was outstanding as all pieces arrived without damage. Directions were very good, especially with the packaging of the hardware in individual pouches. The following are two suggestions to improve steps 16 and 18: There are two shelves (H) and Moldings (Q) so make the statement plural. Also, I had to remove one of the angle brackets (5G) when installing the lower shelf (H) in step 18, maybe because I chose the middle hole for the metal support pins. Perhaps a note to remove and reinstall the pins on one side after the shelf has cleared the angle bracket.

This library with doors is absolutely beautiful and just what I was looking for in my home office. One of the doors was damaged upon arrival and with one quick phone call, they sent a new one immediately- no questions asked. Amazing customer service!

Easily assembled following Sauder's instruction booklet no problems except that the 97 pound box must have been dropped as usual by Federal Express and a few parts needed to be replaced.Quick customer service support is exceptional.

I was very impressed with this product. The instructions were easy to follow and the finished assembly looks fantastic. I really like the extra details, like the plastic covers for the metal shelf holders and the door handles were very good quality. I was able to assemble two of them in about 4 hours. I really wish the back was solid, instead of this cheap looking panel.
