Q: How to adjust for the gap between the frame and the glass sliding door? I built two of these and there is a smallish but noticeable gap between the frame and of the sliding glass door where it meets on one side.

This thing has been a nightmare. The doors are warped. We noticed when we set it up, spent an hour or two being bounces around customer service and then gave up and just tried to assemble it the best we could. The doors don't fit, the back is also bowed and it's impossible to level. I'm kicking myself for not being more aggressive getting this stupid thing picked up when the return window was still open because now I'm stuck with this $600 cabinet that we never bothered to put anything in because it doesn't look like it'll hold up to little trinkets anyway.

This cabinet came out stunning. I had a handyman set it up as I was worried it would take too long if I did it myself based on the reviews. It took him about 1.5 hours. I'm very happy with the purchase, the cabinet really completes our living.

Easily breaks doesn't last long at all. If you are a frequent reader and you utilize this cabinet as a bookshelf, that is a bad idea. Also, its weight limit is 22 pounds per shelf and most silverware and dinnerware. Definitely tends to weigh more than that. I cannot stress that I do not recommend the wheel absolutely broke within months. Of me utilizing this and it's completely crumpled into pieces.

Ordered 3 of these. All had some degree of damage. Big, heavy item. Return was a lot of effort. Packing back up and arranging pickup. So much work. Target made it right eventually, but it was a hassle. This item will come damaged. Was too expensive for what you get. Maybe would be ok at half the cost.
Arrived broken and waiting on manufacture to respond.

I waited over 2wks for this to arrive. The box was beat up and a shelve was damaged. Can’t return item. Need to get manufactured to respond for shelve replacement. I can’t put the cabinet together with out it since is part of the support system. Target help center was of no help since they depend on the manufacturer for their resolve. I don’t even have a box to return to store since it was tore up. It’s a shame because I’ve been wanting this cabinet for a year.

Splurged for my birthday only for it to come absolutely shattered. Couldn’t get it replaced because they were out of stock and customer service was completely unhelpful. So now I have glass all over my floors and no cabinet. Save your money and time!!

This cabinet is very beautiful! There are a lot of reviews saying that the doors don’t shut flush or aren’t square. The way to fix this is to adjust the cabinet wheels up or down with a phillips-head screwdriver. This should close any gaps.

I’m not going to lie, I built it wrong and it’s still beautiful…just have to fix where I screwed the wrong side of the long panels. The door line up and glide perfectly. I bought it in black! Target Customer Service is also the best. My first bookcase arrived with a shattered door and they replaced it!

A single package (quite heavy) arrived as scheduled. Box was beatup but the cabinet is well packed so there was no damage. Relatively easy to setup, but you'll definitely need two people for several parts of the instructions. The instructions reference parts (screws, shelves, etc.) that are all well marked, making it easy to advance the installation process. One put together, there are minor adjustments that can be made via built-in floor levelers as well as the sliding doors. Pro tip: make sure the unit is square (per the instructions) before adding the doors. All-in-all, very happy with the piece!
