Q: How is this paper for color laser printer (toner, not inkjet or "laserjet") photo printing? I need clear, bright photos for business use.

A: Thank you for your question! While we cannot validate results from your specific printer, we know that our 24 lb. paper is common and suitable for most printers including toner laser printers. Plus, black and color ink have superior ink coverage for high print production with the 97 brightness.

Q: what is difference in quality of 28 lb & 24 lb paper. I am making a booklet.

A: 24 lb paper is 89 grams per square meter (gsm) and 28 lb is 105 gsm. For perspective, regular copy paper is 75 gsm and cardstock is 176 gsm. So there is a significant difference between the weight of regular copy paper and 24 lb paper, but especially with 28 lb paper. Both of these items are brighter white with a smooth surface (not glossy). They both take ink well and go through home printers with no issues, without changing the settings. There won't be ink bleed with either if you are printing double sided, but especially with the 28 lb. I think either 24 lb and 28 lb would work well for a booklet, but it just depends on how thick you want it.

This paper used to be easy to find at my craft store, but now Target seems to be the only place I can find it. I like to use it to print scrapbooking decorations and titles. I use it inside page protectors to separate newspaper clippings from touching eachother. It was very important for me to find a paper that is both acid and lignin free because it is supposed to be more archival quality than normal paper. I bought extra, since it was so hard to find.

I bought this product to print my presentations on. It's a nice heavier weight and the bright white paper makes the printer ink pop. It goes through my old printer fine with no jams. I also use it for crafts, like calligraphy, sketching and origami. Ink does not bleed through or feather and it has a really crisp edge when it's folded. The smooth finish makes it a lot nicer to handle regular 20 lb copy paper too. And it's made in the US!
