Absolutely love this rug. I wanted a “moroccan” looking rug, but my conservative self couldn’t take the bold designs. This rug has the uneven / imperfect lines but the low contrast of the white on grey makes it more a supporting piece than the main show? If that makes any sense. It feels great. We just opened it up and my son is loving it. It’s soft, and I know this will keep our toes warm this winter. Because it’s wool, even if we step on it and it gets flat or tangled, it should still look good. The quality is excellent. I have a similar rug from Restoration Hardware. This rug was $545 (sale from $700) and it can compare to the Restoration Hardware rug. RH rug is filled in a bit more, but for the price this works. See images below for how filled in this rug is. Re: cleaning, I know a lot of people complain about wool. Any wool carpet will shed a bit. So I expect that. But wool will keep warm during the winter, it looks great, and wears nicely.
