80" 2 Shaker with Tall Bookshelf Doors White - Prepac: Laminated Composite, 6-Shelf Storage

Unpacked the shelves and a few pieces were already chipped so I didn’t end up putting together and will be returning. Very disappointing. Also nothing is labeled, there are lots of pieces and instructions seem complicated.

Bookshelf fit perfectly in the spot we were looking for. Overall looks pretty nice but I don’t think it would last a single move. The instructions are not great at the pieces aren’t labeled and there are multiple pieces that are the same. Also, one step in the instructions don’t tell you which piece of hardware to use. It does what we need it to, but don’t expect it to last long.

Well, I got this bookcase because I have a tiny flex room which I had a very limited space around of fireplace. It’s looks great. The quality isn’t the best ones but I am happy so far... unfortunately I just got one and another one was purchased in the different website.

I ordered three of these to replace my existing black bookcases that were also purchased from Target. I like these a lot because they are tall so I have lots of room to display things. Also love the doors so I can stash seasonal items in them. The problems I ran into are not a big deal but they are what kept me from giving these 5 stars. 1) The parts themselves are not marked in any way so it took a while to match them to their pictures/descriptions. Do this before you start to assemble and that will take care of it. 2) The finish on the MDF cracks/chips easily so when you're putting it together be very careful with each screw/nail. 3) The backing has no marks for suggesting where the nails should go. That would have made it a little easier, but not a big deal. I'm not sure if this is a problem or not but the part of the door hinge that is attached to the inside of the lower section does not seem to screw down tightly. I've written the company to ask if it should or if it's meant to have play. One of the suggestions on the product description is that you can put them side by side to create a library wall. While this is true, there will be a small gap between them because the top of the lower half and top of the upper half hang out over each edge by about a quarter inch. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and might even get one more. They are quite easy to put together. They suggest 2-person assembly but I did not find that necessary.

The size, style and look are perfect for my needs. I think it is over priced for the quality! If you are looking for a sturdy bookcase that would be used frequently (opening, closing doors for example) this item may not be your best choice.
