This is not 40” wide nor is it 63” inches long. If that doesn’t matter to you, then here is the rest of the issue. The fabric seems like will snag easily. It feels cheap. It looks nice though. The navy is a true navy. The print on it is much more of a tan or off white than a white. It is not a blackout curtain at all but it would filter out a lot of light. Proceed with caution. The pic I am using is for a longer one that was measured a lot smaller than it was supposed to be, too.
It all depends on how picky you are.

The biggest issue for me (and maybe you) is that the curtain is NOT 40” wide. It’s not even 36” wide. It’s 35”. The length didn’t matter to me so much so I’m not sure how far that is off. The color is navy but the print is not white. Up close it looks kind of pale yellowish or grey. Further away it is beige or off white. The material seems easily snagged but I haven’t snagged it yet. It feels cheap. It looks ok. Just don’t touch it. There is no way that this is a blackout curtain. If you need it for a low use situation, then it will work for you as a low cost option. I am using it in my office to create a little closet. The opening is 36”. It will do.

I Love These Curtains, They're Great Quality And Super Cute BUT They Most Definitely Are Not Blackout So I'm Not Sure Why They're Labeled As Such; Even The Description Of The Light Filtering Contradicts The "Blackout" Title, It Wasn't Why I Got Them Though But If You're Looking For True Blackout, Don't Get These.

These curtains do a really nice job of blocking the light and they look and feel nice. My only complaint is that they're not all exactly the same length which makes them look cheap. Love the design, fabric, function, but the length discrepancy bugs me. If these will drape on the floor for you, go for it! Otherwise, buyer beware.
