A: To my surprise, there really are two. I bought these, used them in a binder, only putting things in one side. When I saw your question, I vaguely remembered a review that mentioned two pockets. I wanted to confirm so I got up and went to check - lo and behold, there are two pockets - one on the front, and one on the back of the central plastic that holds the tab. These really are amazing divider pockets!

The tabs are open on both ends, so the labels fall out constantly. So we use small stickers instead like Avery labels 5167. Otherwise, these dividers get the job done.

I kept buying dividers, but the tabs were covered whenever I used sheet protectors. I am not sure what other people are talking about when they say tabs stick out. They don't stick out of the classic-sized binders I bought from Target? Buy these if you plan to use sheet protectors... I gave a 4 for value because they're quite a bit more expensive than the slightly smaller ones.

Too wide. Colors repeated. My kids are required to have 8 tab dividers with doubled sided pockets for school. It would be nice if the multicolored tabs were all different colors or if they came in clear or white. Also, the tabs stick out of the binder and are easily damaged. This product needs improvement.

In less you plan on only laying your 3-ring binders flat, these dividers are frustrating. The white inserts fall out of the tabs when binder is stood upright. I ended up taking them all out and folding them multiple times, then reinserting so they would stop falling out. Please re-develop these tabs if you are going to carry over this item. Great value, but quite frustrating...

The white tabs that you write on keep falling out because the place you insert the tabs is open on both sides and super loose. This is not practical and annoying for people who need the tabs. This divider also makes the tabs pop out of the binder instead of staying within the binder (as another reviewer mentioned). Overall, just okay. Not what I expected, but it is a Target brand and inexpensive for the quantity (not quality) you get compared to other dividers.
