Warm Bright Area Rug Beige - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee

More beautiful in person and very bright and warm. It’s also very soft under my feet. It added such a beautiful bright and warm tone to my room. I also like the dark lines that match the black dresser and nightstands. The pattern is not loud or pronounced, it’s soft and dreamy. I do not have a pad under it I like how it lays flat. It’s finished underneath and is well made. I have a good experience with the Studio McGee line and I love love her products and have many pieces in my home. I’m very happy and I also purchased the Encino bed frame from her line. It all works together. I also enjoyed the price during that target week of deals.

I got the 9x12 on sale for $200. The handfeel is really gross and takes some getting used to, it is flattened down, stiff polyester, not the soft kind of poly. It looks like the fabric could be a softer chenille type feel from the photos. The tire smell went away after about 3 weeks, I did dust some baking soda for 30 min before vacuuming the day I got it. I just needed something cheap to protect my hardwood floors from my cats, and didn't want to invest in something nice that I know they'll ruin in a week. The little pieces that come up as shown in other reviews are going to happen, so if it bothers you then know that. I thought there was cream in the photos but turns out it's light blue, which is not the color scheme I was going for, but with the price and after all the work of laying this down myself I don't have the energy to return it. The edges are very reinforced similar to a Safavieh rug if you've ever had one of those. It's not a thick pile but the rug itself is pretty substantial (I wish I would have had at least one other person help me with it). If you need something cheap and semi temporary, choose this. If you want something with a nice handfeel then I would make the investment on a rug with natural fibers.

Risked it on the rug after reading the reviews because of the affordable price and it’s target and that’s never done me wrong. The rug has multiple pulls already exposing large white holes in the pattern. Definitely not caused by use so an issue in the weave. Also will not lay flat and has bubbles.

As pictured, no damage, great packaging, beautiful colors and cleans well.

I took a chance ordering this rug after reading the bad reviews because it looked like it would match my living room nicely. It finally arrived today after almost three weeks and it has the same black stains that other people have mentioned. I’m so disappointed. I figured after all the other complaints about this that Target would have fixed this issue by now.

Colors are perfect but there are SOOOO many pulls in the rug as soon as we unrolled it. They’re all over too so it’s not like something just snagged it. Definitely a manufacturer issue.

Loved it when it arrived and placed in room. BUT vacuumed it once after we put it down, and noticed the rug is starting to deteriorate immediately. Given the price for the size, I suppose this is something to be expected.

Great area rug to bring warmth to a room. More beige and brown tones in person. Works well with my Grey sectional. Wish it had more padding but I could add underneath if I wanted.

Arrived damaged with a red stain and several torn spots that show bright white spots under the print.

Stained, beautiful rug. Disappointed in the shape of it upon arrival and will be returning. I ignored reviews from others, assuming it was a rare thing but truly seems to be a pattern. Not sure if delivery/pick-up would yield better results

This rug was exactly what I was looking for to warm up my dining room. The color was perfect! It did have a dark gray stain on one corner but luckily my end table covered it so I decided to keep it. I loved it so much I probably wouldn’t have returned it either way!

Rug looks very pretty but came in tore and COVERED in black soot, I’ve tried to clean and the rug just started peeling, incredibly cheap and very annoying, I have a small car so I can’t return so I hope they refund me some money at least

Love the color and quality! Not a single snag! My cat has even scratched her claws on it and it still didn’t leave a mark. Heavy duty and beautiful! Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

I don’t understand the negative reviews.. this rug is lovely! The tone is perfectly neutral. Amazing price point for such a great rug.

I’m really happy that I purchased this rug even after reading some of the negative reviews — I was hesitant. We have had no quality issues and the design is beautiful. This rug was placed in our dining room, which doesn’t get a lot of traffic, and I’m using it as a layering piece. We’ve had no pulls in the carpet, just some loose threading that was not attached to the carpet. Also, there was no horrible smell. It’s not a padded rug, if that’s something you are expecting (which I was not), however, if you are, it would make a great layering piece on a 9x12 rug if you are into the layered look! For the design, quality, and the price, I’m really happy about it!

It’s beautiful and thick, not scratchy but not plush. I love that it has tans and greys so it’d go well with a lot of different set ups...however it isn’t laying flat completely and the corners aren’t squared perfectly, but it was relatively cheap compared to other Persian rugs I’ve seen. Hopefully time will fix those issues as it is laid out flat. There are a couple snags and loose threads but I’m going to just clip those and they shouldn’t be noticeable.

I wanted other reviews to be wrong but they were right. I bought the 7x10. The rug I received had two areas where the thread of the rug looked like it had unraveled or snagged and wasn’t died/printed like the rest of the rug. I might’ve kept it and tried to make it work, for the price, but the snags were white and obvious, so I returned it. The rug was also very beige, much more than I expected.

Many in perfections and we will be returning it to the store.
