Good quality, would buy again.

I’ve been buying and cooking this ground beef at least once a week for 2 years now. Usually the quality is good, it’s fresh, and cooks up well. However, on a few occasions I’ve gotten a bad batch where there was too much gristle or it smelled a little turned even though it wasn’t past date. I haven’t found similarly priced beef anywhere else that cooks up as well as the typical good batches of this one, so I keep buying it

This time around this meat was so full of fat. Definitely not 93/7 quality. Must be mislabeled.

I had gave it it a chance to buy red meat at target so I did ! Little did I know I was making the biggest mistake of my life . Made tacos and the next day. Woke up to vomiting and the biggest stomach ache ever . I’ve been like this for 3 days and now I’m in the ER . And I caught food poisoning. Don’t make the mistake a go buy this . JUST DONT .

I am one of those people that has an extremely acute sense of smell so I find many grocery store meats, especially ground, quite objectionable. I have been purchasing this product regularly and have never gotten a bad package. I open the packages immediately and break them down into one third pound portions, freeze partially, then put into food sealer bags and seal very tightly and then freeze. I always eat meat quite rare, as does my tiny little Maltese dog because we both suffer from low hemoglobin levels and iron deficiencies. I know, it's very strange for both the human and the dog to suffer from the same exact malady. The Veterinarian and my Physician are both baffled and it is most likely environmental. In any event, I, a former strict vegan, found myself craving very rare meat and my dog won't eat anything but very rare meat. This can be pan seared to absolute juicy perfection and the 1/3 lb packages I create and keep in the freezer are enough to feed both of us at dinner time. Because I do the meat quite rare it is very important to have the very low fat ratio of 3%. This product produces a beautiful, very juicy result without grease, gristle, or other funky elements that often show up in ground meat. I've been purchasing it for about 6 months now and every time it shows up fresh and red and smelling perfect. I no longer have to order from the butcher shop to ensure quality. I did not care for the meat.

This is BRIGHT red and must contain food dye. I made meatballs and there was a small amount of beef left in the bowl which I rinsed out and left in the sink. And hour later the water was red. This has to be an unnamed ingredient and makes me wonder what it is and if it’s safe.

Please don’t buy meat here, my family and i got intoxicated, i love target and it was my very first time buying meat there because i had no time to go to the market and i was already there but OMG NEVER AGAIN! It’s been 3 days and my husband, my 3 year old and i are still not completely ok.

Good quality lowfat ground beef. Hardly any grease to drain after cooking. Tastes good, will definitely buy it again.

There’s tiny hard bone-like pieces that you don’t see while cooking until you bite into it. I would go with a different brand. Not purchasing again.

I have been using this beef for YEARS and still love it! I worried about the price being so affordable, but the quality of meat is amazing. It cooks nicely and tastes great. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t!

I agree with the other reviews that the smell is nasty. I threw the first container I bought away because I thought it had just gone bad. The minute you open the container this foul smell fills the air. I’ve bought it a few times just hoping it was that particular batch, but I don’t see any difference, they all stink. I’ve been eating it, but I wouldn’t feed it to anyone else because I’m not confident it’s actually safe.

Questionable business practices going on here. I bought two 1lb packs last week to make smash burgers. I weighed out 2oz balls using a tea scale that's accurate to a hundredth of an ounce. With both packages, my 8th ball weighed just under 0.6 ounces. So they weren't 1lb of ground beef. They were short by nearly an ounce and a half (about 9% off). Very irritating. Also might be illegal. The burgers tasted great though.

I eat this product alot but the ones I bought on 2 september 2024, with an expiration date of 10 September actually made me and my dog defecate our brains out. I've had no issues with this in the past but I dont know if something was contaminated, this was the only thing my dog and I ate on common and I've never seen anything like it made us do today. I'm also mad because I bought 4 yesterday all with the same expiration date and the other 3 will have to go in the garbage because we cant go through again what we've gone through today
