A: This item is water resistant . Keep in mind the panels are not insulated and are not airtight some moisture and air will seep in through these fitted, assembled panels .

Q: I just purchased this item and it should be here in a few days. I just read that it is not weather resistant. Does this mean my cushions will get wet when in storage?

A: The DB9200WD is water resistant. The panels are not insulated and are not airtight. Consider some moisture and air may seep in .However your cushions should remain dry .

Not Weather Resistant

I bought this to store pool towels and toys. while it looks decent, it is not weather resistant. If it rains out, everything inside is very damp. It can not be used to keep things dry. I am not buying bins to keep inside the deck box to keep things dry which kind of negates the point.

This is a great chest to hide all those pool toys, etc. It looks great on the pool deck and is made well and priced reasonably. I would definitely recommend it.

This deck box is great. I keep it on a covered porch for my chair cushions. It holds all of them with room to spare - two long swing cushions and 5 chair cushions. My husband says it was easy and simple to assemble.

After assembly, it looked very good. The material is sturdy and very attractive; shiny white. I had a little trouble assembling, so I called the phone number given for support and a very helpful lady assisted me.
