Q: What makes this "Extra sorry" compared to the original sleepy time tea?

submitted by Husker Mom - 6 months ago
  • A: Hi Husker Mom! Our relaxing Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra tea starts with our time-honored Sleepytime blend of chamomile, spearmint and other soothing herbs, just as our original Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime tea. However, with our Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra tea, Valerian root is added. This helps create an especially calming cup of tea to wind down your day. Hope this helps!

Q: As someone else commented, valerian root is not listed as an ingredient, yet reviewers talk about the valerian it contains... Is the ingredients list truly complete?

submitted by grrlrocks - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi, grrlrocks! Our Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra Tea does contain Valerian Root. However, the information regarding the Valerian Root is not listed under Ingredients on the packaging. It is listed under the Supplement Facts. The Supplement Facts also lists Chamomile and Tilia Estrella. Hope this helps!

Q: No where does it mention valerian root in the ingredients but the box info. claims to contain valerian. Not happy about it being excluded form the ingredients. Would not buy something when the description is vague.

submitted by TQ - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi TQ, thank you for reaching out. All ingredients are listed on the packaging according to FDA regulations. We hope this helps!
