Worth every penny. I normally don’t read series like this or anything fantasy, but decided to give this series a go. Let me tell you, I’m HOOKED. I couldn’t put the books down even to eat. If you’re like me, and not a huge fan of drama or love stories this one is worth taking a chance on.

this book pulled me out of a huge reading slump. started off slow.. but it was well worth pushing through to get to the end. took about a week to get through the first half, then only 2 days to finish the second half of the book. i love that maas didn't rush the ending and also didn't leave any loose ends. if you like harry potter, game of thrones, lord of the rings, etc you will most definitely like this!
