So I totally loved this book! I loved Annie and her ambitions to do what Amish girls don't really do! I love Dok Stoltzfus and wish she was my doctor! She doesn't just heal the body, but also the feelings of those who need comfort. How would that have been? This was a totally engaging book that was hard to put down. It was a touching story that has both Amish and English people and how they work together. As Annie works for Dok, she feels the need to further her knowledge in helping people, but her parents don't quite agree and have reminded Dok that she will be needed in the spring at the family farm. Great book from this amazing author. Totally loved it. I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
