The entire movie is an asinine and utterly needless remake to a film that has already in and of itself been redone far too many times. It blatantly obvious that it was only picked to ensure that Gaga would appear “talented” by simply being a singer/celebrity. If a different film had been chosen that didn’t have a character that “sings” she wouldn’t have had anything to hide behind. Putting the pathetic performance by Gaga aside you still aren’t left with anything of any substance. And the entertainment/enjoyment factor is nonexistent. You’d be better off going to a kindergarten production of A Star Is Born .. at least then you’d be assured to at least see competent talented actors and an enjoyable memorable experience
A single and couples type movie.
