Loved this rug when I got it. Exactly the look I was hoping for. Purchased 8/2024 and it's held up horribly. Pile is very high and it has matted down, has hundreds of pulls and sheds terribly. The way it sheds is just carpet fibers pulling up and sitting on the top of the carpet like frayed yarn. Would never buy again and am just waiting until I can replace it. Horrible.

This rug is made of wool. Wool rugs typically shed a lot with the first few vacuums and then don't shed after. Please make sure the vacuum is not directly touching the pile.

Rug is exactly what I wanted. It's an off-white/ivory that matches perfectly with everything. Its also very soft even tho is a low pile rug. It does look like rugs from West Elm. Super happy about this product!

Not even a month into laying the rug down to use it - it was basically matting onto itself. It didn’t shed like brand new carpet does - It was as if it had such long shedding occurring but didn’t release fully so would end up looking like gross long pieces hanging very where. Our Dyson couldn’t cut through it. I used scissors to try to release it, which would release some - but who has time for that on a 9x12 rug every week? It looked horrible so we threw it away.

This rug feels more expensive than it is. I ordered the light grey color and as one of the other reviews mentioned, it does seem like something from West Elm. Great quality at a fraction of the price. It’s thick enough to not need a rug pad if you don’t want to purchase one. The picture makes it look a little darker than it is in person. Only issue I had was the paper tubing they used to roll up the rug had a little dampness to it and left a tiny spot on the rug. I used spot treatment and it came right out thankfully. One thing to note is it had that new carpet smell to it when I first laid it out. Next day it was gone so not a problem at all.

Safavieh 9x12 Rug Short on Dimensions

Our 9x12 rug measured out 4" short. That might not seem like much but we were trying to cover up the floor underneath which our last 9x12 rug did perfectly. It means we also have to cut our rug pad underneath it. We are happy with the color, thickness and quality but disappointed that a rug could be off that much in measurement.

While the rug seemed to be nice quality it looked nothing like the photo. I ordered the ivory and beige and it appears as though there is some type of plaid like design in the carpet. This rug had absolutely no design in it whatsoever. It was a cream color rug with a few random black spots making it looked dirty. I will definitely be returning this.

I love this rug! it's very soft but not shaggy. the colors are beautiful and have tones of grey, smoky blue, brown, and black. it does not shed. there is a slight scent when opened but not bad at all. I purchased the 8x10 but the ACTUAL size is 7ft 8 inches x 10ft. it's really odd that it's not the advertised size but it still fits in my room. overall the pattern is subtle but rich in color and it's a perfect neutral for many colors in the room.
