Abstract ABT851 Handmade Indoor Rug - Safavieh

This rug is really nice and looks so much nicer in person than the person online. It’s heavy and feels really sturdy. I have mine in my main bedroom and gets lots of traffic because it’s near the entry point. Easy to vacuum as well.

I can’t say enough good things about this rug, it’s everything I expected and more. Hand tufted wool, heavy and well made. It rolled out flat immediately. I wasn’t looking for something soft, but rather thick with some weight, to be able to hold up to guests wiping their shoes on it. I can honestly say this would be able to handle the wear and tear while hiding the dirt. It’s a little over half an inch thick where my entry door easily clears it. The colors are beautiful, the navy area has powder blue strands mixed in while the ivory part has light gray strands mixed in. I had considered a runner but it just didn’t look right, many didn’t have the width or weight, so glad I went with a 4x6 and this thickness. I have added sticky grips underneath to hold it in place, I may add a thin rug pad if I notice it moving. The only con I will say is that it has a funky odor. I’m hoping over time it will fade. I’ve sprayed it with febreeze and that has helped some.
