Fast boot up in 7 seconds because of the SSD. 16 GBs is more than plenty for light laptop work. Even photoshop and acrobat works fast. Laptop is very thin and light... bad side is that it is filmsy and will break at the first drop or bent in the backpack. The hinge stand is part of the screen is also a tilting stand... bad design, will break in no time if not handled delicately. I will make sure this is handled with care. The numeric keypad is slimmer than the normall keyboard or the 17" laptops which has standard size numeric keypad. Cannot accurately use one hand and no looking touch typing keypad entry as I usually do with standard size keypads. Power plug is also tiny, not the standard beefy plug in most laptops, i mean tiny. Very delicate care must be used and make sure you don't bump it or else it will bent the plug or the jack. Took off one star for the delicate nature of this laptop.

The charger broke less than 30 days after purchase. Has broken 2 times since then. Then the computer does not turn on. Acer sent label for repair and now that they received it says it is cracked. It was not cracked when I shipped it! Because they sent the label it cannot be claimed with FedEx. They will not repair because the crack voids the warranty. Honestly, I think it cracked in their facility and they are being dishonest. Will never buy their product again. If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is the first review I ever complete, but I had to warn people before they purchase their products.

This laptap might be a bit older but catching it on sale was great. It seems to run great for what I need it to do. I am only doing web surfing and some basic email/writing tasks. Finding a laptop with these specs for less than $300 is great.

Display scteen has to be at EXACTLY the right angle, to be able to see it, without it being dark and unviewable. Batter life is poor, definately not what it claims. The laptop runs good, no complaints with the operating system. If the display was better, I would give it 4 stars.

We bought this on our way out of town. Did not like, nothing particularly terrible with the computer, but this is about targets customer service. We were out of the country for 33 days, to handle the death procedures of a loved one. We got back in town and target absolutely refused to allow us to return it because it was 5 days past the 30 day return policy. I have never had issues with target before, but this has made me realize that there are plenty of other places that are not so rigid and more accommodating, especially under uncontrollable circumstances.

Acer is notorious for having issues with their charging ports. Mine “broke” after less than 3 months because the charger won’t stay in. Stay away from this brand.
