S. Lewis' classics." --NPR "Seanan McGuire has long been one of the smartest writers around, and with this novella we can easily see that her heart is as big as her brain." --Charlaine Harris "This is a gorgeous story: sometimes mean, sometimes angry, and always exciting." --Cory Doctorow for BoingBoing "So mindblowingly good, it hurts." --io9About the Author
SEANAN McGUIRE is the author of the Hugo, Nebula, Alex, and Locus Award-winning Wayward Children series; the October Daye series; the InCryptid series; the delightfully dark Middlegame; and other works. She also writes comics for Marvel, darker fiction as Mira Grant, and younger fiction as A. Deborah Baker. Not as good as the other books in the series.

I wish I loved this as much as others in the series, but this world was my least favorite so far. The pacing felt a little off compared to the other books as well. The ending comes really abruptly after having a slower pace for 150 pages. I loved Regan though! And Chicory and Pansy and all the centaurs! I just wish I enjoyed the story more.
