About the Book
"When Ada asks each of her animal friends to open their mouth and say 'ahhh,' she's in for a sight! Lion has pointy teeth, Hippo has flat ones, and Mouse has teeth that are teeny-tiny. Elephant's teeth are huge! Some teeth are crooked like Monkey's or sharp like upside-down Bat's, and some are numerous like Crocodile's or, well, beaky like Duck's--but everyone's teeth are just right for them"Book Synopsis
Check out all those teeth! Whether for tooth-brushing routines or dentist visits or any time of the day, this colorful ode to pearly whites will have kids grinning. When Ada asks each of her animal friends to open their mouth and say "ahhh," she's in for a sight! Lion has pointy teeth, Hippo has flat ones, and Mouse has teeth that are teeny-tiny. Elephant's teeth are huge! Some teeth are crooked like Monkey's or sharp like upside-down Bat's, and some are numerous like Crocodile's or, well, beaky like Duck's, but everyone's teeth are just right for them. With bold colors and memorable characters, Daishu Ma gives a toddler-size salute to the power of difference--and the pleasure of a smile.About the Author

Teeth are everywhere! Join little Ada as she finds not only lots of teeth, but all different sizes and shapes. There are large, small, and in-between teeth. Some are short, some are long, or pointy, or round. Each type of animal has its own sort of teeth. As she explores, Ada learns about the many kinds of teeth that are out there. She even learns how smiles look different because of the teeth. Little ones like seeing pictures of faces, and details about them, including teeth, making this board book right up their alley. Expect lots of giggles and laughter while looking at the pages. A fun thing to do is to have the child show their teeth and smile, while the reader does the same thing. Compare what your smiles look like. After reading this book, point out the teeth of animals and people that are around you. This five-star book will be a springboard for good times. Babies to three-years-olds will be delighted by this book. Get a copy and see for yourself. Thank you, Candlewick Books, for providing Tickmenot with a book to review. Opinions are my own.
