Q: The queen size bed says it is only 77 inches long - I believe a queen mattress is 80 inches long. So not sure if this is a true queen size bed? Or the measurements are listed incorrectly?

A: Regular queen size should fit. The depth less than the mattress depth is to secure the mattress not slip.

The bed didn't come with directions and they weren't available online at the Baxton website. They had every other piece of furniture they've ever made EXCEPT this. Nevertheless, it wasn't too hard to put together. You will need a screwdriver and some patience. But the end product is as pictured. It's a great frame for the price.

Bought this bed for my preschooler and I’m very satisfied with it. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I like the look of the bed and it should grow with him. We currently are using a 5inch mattress with the bed and it works fine for him but the bed could easily hold a 10-12inch mattress without taking away from the look.
