Received light and there were many scratches and piece that looked like they were used.

Unfortunately, there’s arrived damaged, I do think it would’ve been an adorable floor lamp, if we had received it undamaged

I consider myself pretty decent at assembling things, but this lamp was a hassle to put together, especially alone. The wire is already threaded through the pieces of the lamp and the instructions start by telling you to just twist the pieces together. What they fail to mention until the VERY BOTTOM of the instructions is that you need to pull as much wire as possible out the base of the lamp before starting to assemble. I had almost the whole lamp assembled before I realized that there was excess wire near the top that wouldn't push down at that point, so I had to take the entire lamp apart again and start pushing the wire down from the base. Also, the lamp was dirty and got some kind of brown soot/dirt all over my hands from twisting the pieces in. From start to finish, the process took me over an hour and was not easy. I think an extra set of hands would definitely have helped, but not much you can do if you're by yourself. The finished product looks as pictured in product photos and I like it so far, but we'll see how it holds up.

I bought two of these, one went together perfectly and is gorgeous. The other lamp, the threads were too deep on one of the connections, so they would not screw in all the way. I will return and order another one. Otherwise, great quality, heavy base, great glow. Can't wait to see it at night.
