When I first received this robe, I was thrilled. I thought I I’d gotten a bargain for a great looking robe that was comfortable, soft, and of premium quality. However, I quickly found out how much this thing sheds. It’s all over the clothes that I wear under it, it clogs up the dryer vent, it’s stuck to my hair (I have a buzz cut), etc. As as much as I like it when it’s not shedding on me, I could not purchase this again. If you can deal with the shedding, it’s great. This should really be a two star for me due to the amount of shedding, but I’ll keep it as a three because it functions as a robe and it feels comfortable. FYI - This review is based on daily wear for the month that I’ve owned it.

This is a nice robe; soft and warm. But when I buy a tall size, I expect the sleeves to be longer and able to reach the wrists. Unfortunately this wasn’t even close for the guys in my family. It might be ok for a 6 ft, man, but not much taller. Sad I had to return it.

The material is not a nice quality. I had been waiting all week for this to come in, just to be disappointed when i opened it up and felt it. Parts of it were soft, but other areas seemed like almost a slightly matted texture? Which i think would get worse with washing it. The material is also very thin. Only positive thing is, it is large and has a hood. But i just could not stand the texture.

I bought this robe for my husband for Christmas and he loves it however the sleeves are WAY too short! He is 5‘10, 175 lbs and he loves the push material and hood…so do I when I’ve slipped it on however the sleeves are ridiculous. He doesn’t have long limbs and hasn’t had an issue with other items however for him and I (5‘7 160 lbs), the sleeves are short on both of us. I’ve read the reviews before purchasing but thought maybe it would still work for him. It does and k feel like it is worth the price however, the measurements appear to be off. It goes down to his ankles, hood is ample enough to pull over his entire face while snoozing to keep the light out…but the sleeves kill it. We are keeping it, but measurements should be corrected and any future buyers should know how short they run. A size larger than L/XL would leave him swimming in it, so that wouldn’t be an option. The cuddly material and thickness made us choose to keep rather than return. Just beware if you mind sleeves that ride up above the wrist. Overall, he’s happy. Just worth mentioning.

This is to replace my hubbies previous Alexander Del Rossa Robe which tho looks good still has some tears from hubby being rough with it. BUT the quality is amazing so I had to buy another as the previous one lasted him over 6 years without looking worn in any way. I changed up the colour this time around and look forward to using this one many years. I have a woman's robe for myself as they are so well made.
