The molecule that makes up AIRCARBON, also known as PHB, is made in almost all life on Earth, from plants and animals to the human body: a material that connects us. Just as when a tree grows there is a net reduction in carbon in the air, similarly with AIRCARBON: the world's first knives that are third-party verified regenerative/carbon-negative (SCS Global, ISO 14044: 2006 for manufacturing & disposal), helping to give nature a chance to heal.
Knives that feel great and can make a difference. It is just a small step, but it is a good step, and everything starts with one.

Great alternative to toxic plastic. I’ve never had one break as we use them like butter knives or light duty knives for picnic condiments, cutting sheet cakes, and other light use. These aren’t steak knives, however neither are plastic knives so I wouldn’t expect them to be.

I love the mission of AIRCARBON and how they’ve created plastic-free, usuable items made by natural materials. The material feels very similar to plastic and just as strong as other plastic silverware. Good to use on a variety of foods but not the really tough stuff…like steak. These really feel like plastic and it's hard to tell they're not made from plastic. I like that they are plastic free and sustainable. They are perfect for picnics and every day use. I would wash them easily and also reuse them. They are strong enough to cut soft meat and fish easily but not for tougher meats. They do bend a little bit. They are great for kids. I used these air carbon knives for a family picnic. The knives were not strong enough to cut the food. The knives broke during use. Because the knives look like single use plastic, my family assumed the knives were plastic, and threw them away. When I explained they were reusable air carbon, everyone laughed. We agreed no one would take the time to collect them, wash them and reuse them. We all decided if you want to avoid plastic, it would be easier to bring silverware from home, wash it, reuse it and carry it back home. The air carbon knives will still end up in a landfill. I would not recommend. "The author of this review received a free sample of this product"

Great for travel and more durable than a normal plastic knife. I’m happy to use something that is better for the environment in place of something plastic that will sit in a land fill. Camping with kids ends up being a lot of plastic ware for convenience, so this just gives me a little more peace of mind that I’m not adding to the problem. They are serrated so they cut decently. Obviously nothing beats metal flatware, but it gets the job done for a normal meal. It was able to cut a grilled chicken breast without snapping in half. I tried them out in the dishwasher without high heat and they survived, which was surprising. I reused them a few times that way. The author of this review received a free sample of this product.

These knives get the job done- we like them for camping or on the go. They do bend quite a bit. If you are looking for a product that is environmentally friendly and reusable, these are great! Dishwasher safe, too! The author of this review received a free sample of this product.

Overall the knives work totally fine and well. They feel a little flimsy but they never broke. I used them to make PB&J sandwiches. I would recommend!
