For the love of God, please don't buy this. The texture is rubbery, like chewing plastic and worms on the fish. We had to throw the whole bag into the trash. What's going on with Target's quality control?

these filets are not pearly white and flakey fleshed as traditional cod, they are mottled gray and spongy, they taste unlike anything ive ever eaten, this is the 3rd time ive gotten these hoping it would be different than the last batch but it was for nought... Fish being a natural product cannot be exactly the same as the last you had but there is something OFF about this so called cod...RUBBERY AND TOUGH...WITH A SMELL...IM GOING BACK TO WEGMANS & GETTING FRESH COD...THE PRICE DIFFERENCE IS NOTHING COMPARED TO UNHAPPY FAMILY & FRIENDS BEING SERVED SMELLY GARBAGE PARADING AS FISH.

Worm found in frozen cod after cooking. It was dead, as I cooked the fish thoroughly. But disgusting, nonetheless. Target was kind enough to issue a refund, but I definitely will not be purchasing this product again.

I know it’s frozen fish but this didn’t taste right. Something about the texture was so off-putting I actually spat it out. I usually don’t waste food but I don’t even feel comfortable feeding this to my dog.

It’s bagged frozen fish. The amount of people that don’t know worms are common in cod are amazing. Thus why fully cooking is important. If it’s dead eating it won’t kill you.

I bought this fish when it was on sale to try it out. I like it a lot. It does not have that fishy taste that other types of fish have. I do think the portion is a bit small if paying full price. However, the fact that it is wild caught makes it worth it to me.

This cod was putrid! I love to cook and when I served this to my family I was mortified at how bad it was,. We might as well have eaten a seasoned piece of rubber. Do not waste your money or time purchasing this god-awful fish!! I wish I had read reviews before buying it!
