Q: Are these vitamins vegan?
A: This product is not vegan. The Alive! Tablet and capsule formulas do contain gelatin. The gelatin is derived from a combination of both pork and beef, in both formulas. The Vitamin A (as retinyl acetate) is encapsulated with this combination of gelatin to help stabilize the vitamin.
