Why?!? I have been using Alka seltzer plus since it came out and love how it works. My husband accidentally bought the "Fizzy chews" today. This was the most awful attempt to get a medication down in my life! I am NOT a fan of the fizzing as I am trying to chew and swallow a tablet! I about choked. Started coughing immediately.

These are for sure more convenient, however the taste is terrible. So much so that it took me a full 20 minutes to take the second one after taking the first because it was so nasty. I’ll stick with the tablets that go in the water.

This one is like other cold and flu medicine but gives you a better option like portability and that they are chewable and you don’t even need water. Also liked that it has an orange flavor. Of course one dose does not get rid of your cold right away but this helps a lot and eases the discomfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this Alka-seltzer plus chews are so convenient. They are chews for cold and flu that you just chew in your mouth and that’s it. They contain acetaminophen for pain relief and fever reducer. They also contain chlorpheniramine which is antihistamine and dextromethorphan for cough. So it’s basically 3 in one. It’s very convenient on the go when traveling too. I like the orange flavor.

I actually enjoy the taste of tums and a chalky texture but something in this formulation didn’t do it for me. For now I’ll stick with fuzzy the drop in water style!
