About the Author

Jaclyn S. Parrish is a gaming enthusiast who has been featured as a writer on outlets like Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition (TGC), Christ and Pop Culture, and Love Thy Nerd (LTN), and as a main speaker at conferences like Nerd Culture Ministry Summit and LTN Con. Jaclyn is also the director of marketing at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. She holds a B.A. in English and Christian Studies from Dallas Baptist University, and an M.A. in Religion (Ministry) from the B. H. Carroll Theological Institute. When not engaging in academia, Jaclyn can be found around the table, embracing the fantastic wilds of Dungeons & Dragons with some of her closest friends.
