Super crunchy blanket! It’s like sleeping under a large paper bag. I didn’t sleep well because it was noisy. Washed it twice hoping it would soften up to no avail. Will return.

The blanket is crisp at first. The fabric softened up after using it a few times and after washing it. I can't sleep without a blanket so this is perfect for when it's hot and it just provides me with the perfect amount of layer. I can tell it's cooling because my dog (who is always hot) always wants to curl up with it.

Great blanket for those that get super hot/warm when sleeping.
I needed something that would keep me cool throughout the night and this was perfect! It's pretty thin!

This blanket is like sleeping under a crunchy plastic tarp. It reminds me of the vinyl covered bed pillows used in a hospital. The blanket has an industrial feel, there is no softness no suppleness zero cuddle factor. The cotton shell is stiff and oddly grippy like a non skid surface. But worse the blanket crunched like wrapping paper every time my spouse or I moved, the crunching kept us both awake. Initially the blanket feels strangely damp to the touch I guess that's the 'cooling' part but the cool, damp feel was momentary. My old down-blanket feels downright luxurious in comparison.
