As long as the mattress is purchased from Target it will be covered under this plan. The Standard Protection Plan covers all mechanical and electrical failures that occur during normal use. You will receive 100% parts and labor coverage up to the original price of the item. The issues that we do not cover include misuse, loss or theft and any cosmetic damage that does not affect the operation of a device. Your protection plan is active, but we will need you to submit the item purchase receipt as it will be required if you need to file a claim. Q: Are these in addition to or in place of manufacture warranty?

  • A: Hello, SquareTrade sells extended protection to cover above and beyond what your manufacturer covers. Since SquareTrade is an extended warranty, any existing warranty from a seller or manufacturer does take precedent over the SquareTrade warranty. For normal mechanical and electronic failures, our coverage begins after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. Most items are covered up to one year by the manufacturer. Regards, Ali
