I will not purchase these. Don't know what Micellar means, but I want the pads is used with mineral oil by Almay . I will start using baby oil on cotton pads if I cannot find a substitute for your original pads.

Love this product for removing eye makeup. No oil so safe to put my contacts in after use. Have been using for years.

Smells like fingernail polish remover. They don't take all of the mascara off. Waste of money

What happened! I have loved this product for YEARS (12+ yrs) and something is different and I don't like it. I am so sad I have to look for something new.

Something changed last year, I used to get these in bulk whenever on sale and when I purchased again last year I could tell the texture of the pad seemed different and they weren’t as effective. I have tried other products trying to find another solution to find nothing I liked more than the original pads, and have even came back to these and am disappointed in the pad. In between products again, I really want to purchase these again which prompted me to write the review, I am still actively seeking a better product so I don’t think I can recommend.

I have been a long standing fan of the eye makeup remover pads, but the last few tubs that I have bought have been unusable. They sting and burn my eyes. I initially thought it was just one container, but I have tried another two with the same result. Very disappointed

Almay oil free eye makeup remover pads are wonderful. They are easy to use, gentle on the eyes and don’t drip. I recommend this product.

I used these last night for the first time. As I started to remove my eye makeup my eyes started to burn. What is that horrible strong smell. Sickening. I immediately had to wash my eye area. My eyes burned for several hours and I got one of the worst headaches I have ever had. How can a product like this be sold.

Smell like nail polish remover. I actually had to double check the first time I used it that it wasn’t acetone wipes. Pads are very thin and small. I would have to use 6 each time to remove all my eye makeup. Not for me.

I used these for years with no problems but since they introduced the micellar biodegradable ones-my eyes burn a lot. I have to keep a wet washcloth near me when I am removing my make up because it starts burning. It’s not always the same intensity though so not sure if the exact amount of all ingredients are in all the packages. But I agree with other people, please offer the OG option because i really loved these but I can’t handle the burning

Disappointed they changed the formula but also disappointed they decreased the size of the applicator pads.

I do not like the new formula. I’ve always been able to trust Almay products for my sensitive skin. Sadly no longer can I use this new formula. It burns and stings my eyes.

This eye makeup remover works great, leaves no oily residue, and doesn’t bother my contact lenses or sensitive eyes. It’s the only one I’ll use.

The pads are small and very thin. You need at least 3-4 for each eye.
