With the cap tightly closed, shake the container before you use it to allow the tiny balls inside the formula to do their job of mixing things up. To draw a fine line, press lightly. Press more firmly for a bolder line. Not feeling so steady? Accomplish any of these effects by first dabbing precise dots along your lashline, and then going back and slowly connecting them. For subtle definition, draw a thin line as close as you can to your lashline, starting at the inner corners and working your way outward. For a wide-eyed look, line the outer third of your eyes only. For classic cat eyes, extend the outer corners into feline flicks. Thicken the line by going over it, just at the outer corners of your eyes, until you get just the kind of wing you want

I used to love this product, but they must have changed the formula because now I can’t keep it on my eye. It ends up smudging and beneath my eye every day. This is going straight in the trash. Very disappointing.

I got this yesterday at Walmart because they didn’t have elf, and I assumed it would be good because it was expensive, but it was just a waste of my money. The brush is dull, not sharp at all, and the eyeliner itself has horrible coverage, looks like it was done with a crayola marker. If I could leave zero stars I would.

I loved the Brown Topaz of the previous version. This new Brown is way too dark. Please bring back the previous version, or add a lighter, shimmery brown option. Since Brown Topaz got discontinued, I've been using other brands that have a shade similar to Brown Topaz, but I would rather use Almay.

Wow it’s the applicator that’s making my eyes burn. I used a different pen and dipped the eyeliner on the other pen and noticed that my eyes didn’t hurt. Definitely think it’s the application pen .

Agree with other reviews regarding the applicator. It is not the same as it used to be. Noticed the change during covid, 2020. The applicator frays and makes it nearly impossible to use. The tip usually becomes more flexible with use but the fraying it horrible. I like this because it comes in brown and the eyeliner comes off easily when applying if you make a mistake. Please fix this applicator!!!!

Wow!! so I'm not sure who wrote the description here, but Almay Nice Ink black is NOT water proof. Water will dilute this instantly off your skin!! I tried it and could not believe how little water it takes to dissolve this eyeliner, just plain water.! You might as well use your kids water colors. If you are looking for a water resistant makeup this is NOT for you.

I bought this because the store was out of the normal Cover Girl liquid liner I normally use. I thought this would be comparable, but it actually felt like I was scraping a broken tip pencil across my eyelid while attempting to get a smooth line to form. The application from this brand new bottle resembles what other eyeliners look like when they've just about run dry. The worst eyeliner I've ever used. I just threw it out!

I had used this product when I was younger and remember loving it. I stopped wearing eyeliner for years. Now I came right back to this and it still works just as good. It’s easy to apply a cat eye with the shape of the applicator tip. Other eyeliners were too hard to get a straight line and would irritate my eyes so bad. Also, other liners would flake and fall into my eyes making my eyes red and irritated. Highly recommend this’

I like this Almay liquid eyeliner for the most part. It has a nice tip application, making it easy to apply. I've just started to use it so it's still a new product for me but I notice it can smudge a little which is the only part I struggle with from this product.

I've been using this for over 18 years and love it! For those that say the brush is stiff and the product is watery, this is more for a pro eyeliner artist.

Never, ever, ever again... If it was possible to give zero stars, I would. Burned my eyes, awkward to apply, constantly smearing, the list goes on. (FYI, I do know how to apply liquid eyeliner - have successfully done it for at least 15 years!) Avoid at all costs.
