i bought this as i have fair, sensitive skin and wanted a hypoallergenic option. this made my eyes swell shut and gave me rashes for days on end. i dont know what changed as i used this product before and didnt have this issue.

soooooo clumpy!!!! even the elf mascara is cheaper then this, and is MUCH better! GET BETTERS THINGS THAT ARE CHEAPER THAN THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve always used Almay because my eyes are super sensitive and I’ve never had a problem. This new tube I just opened and started using is causing my lids and under eyes to swell up so badly and my lids are red and burning. What changed?

I wear glasses and my eyelashes are not too dense but of moderate length. Lengthening mascara oftentimes causes my lashes to sweep against the inside of my glasses causing a little smear on the lenses, which I hate! So I'm always on the lookout for a mascara that will thicken but not necessarily lengthen my lashes. I am so glad to have found this Almay Thickening Mascara. It really does thicken the lashes and while it does also somewhat lengthen them, I have not had the lens smearing issue with it. Just follow the directions for use with this mascara and I doubt you will be disappointed. I love it!

this mascara makes my eyelashes look so full and long! there is not a ton of clumping, but you do have to brush through your lashes a little bit afterwards. super easy to take it off after a long day just wash your face with a gentle cleanser.

I really like this mascara I have sensitive eyes and especially one prone to pink eye for anything. This thickens and lengthens without hardening the lashes. This also means I don't loose as many lashes from breaking or falling. It's really easy to remove with mild soap comes right off! I've used expensive mascaras and this one works way better at a much lower cost. (sorry for any typos)

Been using this for many, many years! Love the product. One coat of the mascara lifts your lashes and makes it fuller. One thing I do not like is if I laugh too hard, it smears a little bit. Other than that, it stays on well and gives you total lift and lash fullness!

I have used Almay Thickening mascara for many years. I have always had sensitive eyes and this product has been the best I had found, until recently Not sure if the formulation was changed but the last 2 tubes have left the area around my eyes dry and irritated. Also the coverage is not nearly as good. After a few hours I look like I didn’t put it on. Very disappointed . If there was a change it should have been noted.

The waterproof purple tube version actually worked without pulling your eyelashes out. The newer formulas (in blue and teal tubes) are so permanently stuck on to your lashes, they pull them all out. What usually happens when you like a product? They discontinue it. So, so sad!!! (I'd seriously buy a case if you had them sitting somewhere.)

I bought a tube about two weeks ago. It was an OK mascara. Very shiny in brown/black, not natural looking. Baking sourdough for Christmas gifts, I had my new mascara on when bending over the oven to remove my Dutch oven and my eyelashes stuck together. Trying to see, I forced my eyes open so as to avert disaster. Short story, the heat melted my eyelashes, forcing my eyes open broke many of my lashes. I now have short lashes, that no mascara can fix. It makes me wonder what kind of plastic/polymer is in this "natural" formula, that leaning near a heated oven would cause melting.

I’ve recently been struggling with eyelid eczema. I’ve had to revamp my entire skincare and makeup routine and needed to find a new mascara. I purchased this and another Almaty mascara, a cover girl, and a Neutrogena. This one I liked least and returned. It never quite dried. Rather, it smiled all day. Application wasn’t great, either. Just very sparse and then that second coat was clumpy, thick, and uneven.

Despite this product being labeled as a thickening mascara, I found that it lengthens my lashes but doesn’t give them much volume. I also have issues with clumping when I try to apply multiple coats. I like the length this mascara gives my lashes and it works great for a natural look if you only use one coat.

I’m not someone who usually writes reviews, but I had to for this product! I bought this mascara because i had a coupon, and it has turned out to be my favorite mascara. It doesn’t irritate my eyes like other mascara, and I’m pretty sure my lashes have grown since using it. My only complaint is it is not waterproof and tends to smudge under my eyes, but most mascaras do that for me. I’m going to try the waterproof length mascara from Almay.

This is definitely a trust, worthy name and brand. Sometimes this brand makes my eyes burn, but this one does not love the volume and love the wand love this product.
