purple option- not purple , more like 2nd picture in description. Glass is dimple in places. But gazing balls are hard to find (not like the 90s, -they were everywhere), and the price with Target + sale were too good to past up. I wouldn't spend full price for these- but on sale, yes.

I purchased this about 2 months ago to place in the heart of my cherry tree, where three trunks grow upwards. It's in shade, hasn't been too rainy/stormy during late summer in western NY. It has lost all reflective, metallic sheen. It's now basically just a spotty, purple glass. Disappointed, to say the least. I'm not going to spend my valuable time returning.

It has a neck at the base with a black cap so that you can safely sit it in a gazing ball holder. I found my holder in a local home decor store. I’m so happy with my gazing ball and I really want to get more! It is so eye catching! Even my neighbors noticed and complimented it. I’m very pleased!

But I also like that it’s not the same color as plants/bushes/leaves so it stands out. I think If I bought another, I would choose a different color tho so it breaks up my landscaping a bit more. It’s definitely mirror like. Not heavy but not breakable. It was very carefully packaged and I really appreciated that. I did notice some air bubbles on the surface but I think the sun will bake those out over time.

I'm really happy with the quality of the product. I purchased as a replacement for my last globe that had broke. It fit in my old stand perfectly. We have crazy wind in Vegas and my other just like this broke. This is the perfect replacement. I love how it lights up the room twice a day. It goes great with my indoor plants and flowers.

The shine and reflection is excellent and because it's green it is also neutral next to green grass and plants. It doesn't look out of place. It added that little something extra to my flower bed. I definitely find myself gazing into it. It's very relaxing. Now I want more of them.
