My hairstylist introduced me to Jazzing back in the 80s and I've been using it ever since. I guess my hair loves it so much, that as I grew more gray hairs (now 64 yrs old) the Jazzing covers it remarkably! I get compliments on the street asking where I get my hair "highlighted" or how "thin the streaks are" lol. I've tried Cherry Cola and Red Hot, but my all time favorite is Ruby Red!

I use Jazzing for many years, what do is use it for people who want to enhance their color, but it doesn't lift it just puts a stain of a warmer color, on hair that's mousy or wanted a vibrant change . Brown made it more rust color or more burgundy and then it slowly fades as you wash it. If resistance use gray drops but in a darker color. But the grays are resistant to jazzing ,it only puts a shade of color on it. Helping with gray drops. What it does is gives great shine, closes the cuticle ,and can enhance a natural brown hair that's not too dark, with color ,great for somebody's afraid of color. Used on ethnic hair and use it after the relaxer, neutralize first and then regular shampoo second, and put it on then underneath the dryer ,and it would close the cuticle and put shine to the hair ,and give it a a shade of color especially in the sun,on some it's stains the scalp a little bit. The lighter the hair, the more intense the color. And you can mix the colors which you get any color , and straight can be funky colors on bleached hair, it does rinse out at times, use a dark pillowcase .Even a great product even if you don't want any color ,and you just want shine ,use clear after a highlight, it enhances the shine encloses the cuticle .

I bought this to cover my gray hairs. Shocked to find the color when applied is BLUE. No where near purple but like Smurf blue. I want my hair to be purple. What is the name of the hair color I should purchase. Because this is definitely not it!

I've been mixing smokey brown + redhotz Jazzing for 40+ years. My hair used to be black. I was prematurally Grey 50% in HS. By the late 80s I was pretty much silver 80% and my coarse straight hair soaked up the color mixture big time. I often used a heat cap on med-low to help it. Every time I was out people would stop me to comment positively on my hair color and wanted it for their hair. I told them that unless they were totally gray not to bother. I'm 70 now and have a Pro color & cut my hair now who is a 30-something. We trade color secrets over the generations. I still keep Jazzing in my hair cabinet for times when she is busy abd I have an event to attend. I love my Clairol products...50+ years worth.

It awesome I will still give it 5 stars! Red hair dye also fades fast so using this temporary color 10 washes it last just as long as boxed dye but not so harsh on your hair!

I’ve used this in my niece’s hair and it does the job but it fades and needs reapplying. Nothing looks worse than these vivid colors that have faded and just looks tacky. If your hair is darker some pre lightning may be necessary. It was cute for a summer look streaked through her hair.

My natural hair is dark brown and the ends were a little lighter from the last time I dyed it an ash brown color. I put the red right on top of my brown hair and left it in for 30 minutes and the color turned out just like on the bottle. My hair is still bright red and it is lightening a little bit towards the ends. I like the fact that I didn’t have to mix it with anything I just took the bottle and put it straight on my hair. It is also very inexpensive and a great quality product and I highly recommend this to anyone looking to add some color to their hair. The only thing I will say is be prepared to have the color washing out of your hair for the first week or so and dry your hair with some towels that you don’t mind getting hair dye on.
