Q: Why does the bass start to fade as the volume gets louder? I’ve noticed that as the device gets louder there’s less bass and a lot more treble.
A: Hi Wonder woman, thanks for reaching out about Amazon Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen, 2023 release) | Smart Display with Deeper Bass and Clearer Sound If your Echo Show has reduced bass when you turn the volume up high, it's likely due to the speaker's limitations at high volume levels, where the audio processing might automatically reduce bass frequencies to prevent distortion; you can try adjusting the equalizer settings in the Alexa app to boost the bass slightly at lower volume levels to compensate for this effect. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Can I use this to connect to my nest cameras?
A: Hello Haley R! Yes, Echo products can connect to Nest cameras, but there are a few details to keep in mind. Requirements: • Amazon Alexa Integration: Google Nest cameras can be integrated with Amazon Alexa. To do this, you need to link your Google account to Alexa. This is done through the Google Nest skill available in the Alexa app. • Nest Camera Compatibility: Most Nest cameras, like the Nest Cam and Nest Doorbell, work with Alexa once integrated. This allows you to view live feeds from the camera on Alexa-enabled devices with screens, such as the Echo Show or Fire TV. • Using Voice Commands: Once linked, you can use voice commands to display the camera feed. For example, saying, "Alexa, show me the front door camera," will show the live video feed from your Nest camera on your Echo Show 5. Steps for Setup: 1. Open the Alexa app on your phone. 2. Go to Skills & Games and search for the Google Nest skill. 3. Enable the skill and follow the prompts to sign in to your Google account and link your Nest cameras. 4. Once linked, you can use voice commands to control the camera feed and view it on compatible Echo devices. Have a great day!

Q: Can I use Netflix and Hulu on this device?
A: Hi Ana, Thanks for reaching out about the Echo Show 5. Yes, you can use both Netflix and Hulu but with some limitations: You'll need active subscriptions to Netflix and/or Hulu to use these services. and you will need to link your Netflix and Hulu accounts to your Alexa account in the Alexa app, Given the small screen size, the Echo Show 5 is better suited for quick video consumption rather than extended viewing sessions. For a better experience with streaming services, you might consider larger Echo Show models or dedicated streaming devices. I hope this helps, have a great day.

Q: Can this be used as a speaker phone when someone calls or a speaker in the house to call someone in another part of the house?
A: Hello and thank you for asking this question. The Echo Show can be used to make outgoing calls to phone numbers and contacts in your list. They can also be used like intercoms to other Echo speakers in the same household by using the drop in feature. After enabling the skill in the Alexa application you can call other speakers in the same household by saying “Alexa, drop in on (name of other speaker)” Echo speakers can also be used as Bluetooth speakers by saying “Alexa start Bluetooth pairing” this way the device can be used as a speaker phone for a call on your phone. I hope this answers your question and that you have a great day.
