Don’t buy this. Mine does not work. I’m calling target.com about this not working. I called the gift-card and it is saying return to store it does not work.

We regret to hear about the problem with your card. Please contact our team at 1-877-867-4873 to request a replacement card. In order to use your card, you’ll want to make sure the balance of the Card is more than the entire cost of the purchase, including taxes. The gift card is accepted anywhere Visa is accepted. However, some retailers may have unique limitations in place.

Made the mistake of clicking email instead of mail. doesn’t work with Apple Pay or the mass majority of websites (except target which you have to select as their “other card - like visa gift card”.) as it got declined on every site. So I bought two visa ones with it instead and they worked perfectly. I’ve heard the physical ones work well in stores but don’t even bother with these e-gift ones.

Bought $100 AmEx gift card as gift and it is USELESS. It can’t be used anywhere. Not online, not in store. Can’t be added to PayPal or Apple wallet. And when you call customer service, all they tell you is that the card is now being placed on 24 hour hold. For what? Not like it worked in the first place. The card is a scam; only purchase if you want your money stolen. Oh, additionally, the card that was PURCHASED AT TARGET, ALSO GETS DECLINED BY TARGET.

Beware- Faulty AMEX Gift Cards

Purchased a $100 AMEX Gift Card at local Target Store a few days before Christmas. The receipt shows it was activated correctly and confirmed by guest services. Receipt also states it can not be returned. The recipient of the gift card tried to use it and it didn't work. Called the customer service number on the card that confirmed there was a problem with the card. After spending 30 minutes on the phone to get a replacement card, you have to send documentaion (including a copy of your drivers license) to an email with a claim number. They will start an "investigation" and who knows if and when we will receive a replacement. Resigned to the fact that I've been cheated out of $106.

I purchased 3 egoft cards they aren't working. They aren't being accepted anywhere and I can't use them. I want a refund. Same issues others are having!!!

I purchase November 20 send to my email when I try access the link for the card # it taking me to the American Express website called target they have me going from department to the next up to now I don't know what's going to happen with my $106 I wasted
