American Tourister NXT Hardside Large Checked Spinner Suitcase

We bought this suitcase during a vacation to safely bring our souvenirs home. Unfortunately, the very first time it went through TSA, it cracked in three places—two of them near the wheels. For a suitcase marketed as "hardside" and durable, this was a major letdown. We expected it to hold up better under normal travel conditions. Would not recommend if you need reliable luggage for checked items.

The suitcase worked well for my daughter. The color is pretty but it did get scuffed easily on our first trip. I would like to see more pockets inside the suitcase.

Wheel broke on first use, says full warranty contacted the company. Said they don't have wheels and that I would have to pay to ship it to their store to attempt to fix

Case is already cracked and not usable. I've only traveled with it at most 3 times. It's super disappointing & annoying that I now have to purchase a new case to be able to travel back home after these holidays.

It is quite large and can only be used as a checked bag on a flight, but it has a lot of space inside with opportunity for some organization and it can fit like 2 weeks+ of clothes for me. The wheels roll quite nicely and it makes it very easy to maneuver.

I bought this in January. I've used it a handful of times, maybe 3 or 4 times by plane, and a couple road trips. But it's already developed a major crack on the exterior. It feels a little flimsy so I'm not super surprised. I'm not sure what caused it, I just looked at it one day and noticed the crack. But I haven't had it that long, it doesn't matter what caused it, it needs to be able to hold up. If it was more durable, I do like the suitcase overall, it's easy to load up, holds plenty, and rolls well. But it needs to be durable. They have a warranty, but they don't cover shipping. So I would have to pay probably $50-60 (based on online estimates) to ship it out to be repaired, half the price of the suitcase. And there is a risk they would refuse to repair it, and I would be out that money. I might just end up buying something better. Maybe from somewhere with a better return policy so I don't have to ship it back.

It did not survive one international flight, it broke around the wheels. Maybe it was TSA’s fault, but it was surprising it broke after just one trip

The zipper inside the suitcase will not close until you pull the zipper multiple times back and forth.

I for once look forward to packing for a trip. There is so much room/storage space. I love the material the outside is made of, it’s very durable. I also love the color it is. It has lots of compartments on the inside, and it rolls very easy, no tugging. I’d definitely say this is worth a buy if you’re in the market for a good suitcase.

Quality durable luggage with room enough for 2 people’s clothing and accessories for a several day trip!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy with my American Tourister 28” Spinner Suitcase! The sage green color and checkered pattern are so cute and will definitely stand out at baggage claim. The hard case is made of thick plastic and feels very durable. It’s larger than I thought, it can easily hold an entire week’s worth of clothes for 2 people. I love the large internal zipper compartment, too! Adds a whole other area for storage. The best part though is the spinner wheels, they’re great quality and make it so easy to maneuver this thing through parking lots and the airport.

I love how there are wheels to roll it around because I definitely did not expect to receive this big of a luggage but it works perfect for my honeymoon coming up! 🤍 The inside has many pockets for great organization and the blush pink color is much more vibrant than it shows in the photo.

This suitcase went on two trips with me. First trip the suitcase cracked. Thought it would be ok. Went on a second trip and one of the wheels fell off where it was cracked. Would NOT recommend this suitcase. If I could give it a 0 star I would. Very cheap. The outside also shows marks very easily and did NOT hold up. (Pictures attached)

The zippers are sturdy. I could fit so much into. This suitcase. I love these things zippered in sizes part to keep things where they need to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful color wish it was more durable. You can tell it’s not as solid as an away or Mono. They are very sturdy and this one wobbles a bit. Good for price though.

Zipper on the expander broke the first time I used it. Really bad quality.
