First, assembly took about 2.5 hours—not the easiest process, but the instructions were fairly straightforward. Be prepared to set aside some time and patience. Aesthetically, it’s a beautiful piece. The design is sleek and modern, making it a great focal point in my bedroom. However, if you’re looking for extra storage, this may not be the best choice since it doesn’t offer any shelving or compartments. We live in an older home (hence the lovely 70s blue carpet), and some rooms need updating because they don’t hold heat as well as others. So, as for the fireplace itself, the heat output is reasonable—good for adding some warmth to a medium-sized room, but don’t expect it to be your primary heat source. It’s enough to knock the chill off. The flame effect is nice and creates a cozy ambiance. Overall, if you want a stylish fireplace mantel for your TV and don’t mind the assembly time, this is a solid option. Just keep in mind the lack of storage and moderate heating capability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I recieved this Elmcroft Mantel Fireplace TV Stand it didn't have the cabinets on the side like the picture showed but it is still beautiful. The box was extremely heavy and a little banged up. The TV Stand has very minor chips in the paint but everything else is wonderful. There is a remote to control the heat temp and color of the fire under the logs. It has elevated my house so much and I am so very grateful to have recieved this product. It works amazing and is sturdy and great quality.

I love how this makes such a big difference in our family room! It is elegant and fills the space perfectly! It puts out a nice amount of heat to be the size that it is! This product is very durable and will last for a very long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this Elmcrost Mantel Fireplace free in exchange for my honest review. The assembly of this fireplace was surprisingly easy! The directions were clear and understandable. So THAT was really impressive! The materials were pretty good quality, and fastened together with minimal effort. They really did a great job prefabricating the materials and creating the manual! The finished design of the frame/mantle is actually quite pretty, and sleek looking. The heater is relatively quiet and works well. I appreciate the fact that you have the option to adjust the heater by specific degrees, rather than “low, medium, high”. I also like the timer function. My only complaint about this fireplace is the “flame” effects. They are super unrealistic. The “burning embers” and “flame” accents are fine. It’s the three “logs” that I find unattractive. The logs light up…and slowly blink on and off. I understand where they were trying to go with this effect, but unfortunately it just misses the mark, in my opinion. Maybe I’m just being too picky bout it, though. Overall, if you are looking for an electric fireplace, you may want to check this one out.
