Ameriwood Home Sherman Curio Cabinet with Glass Doors and Storage Drawer, White Oak

Love the color and the texture blend in with the design of my home and provide so much more storage space for my dinner and drink wear while on display play. This cabinet was well packaged safely for shopping and it is well made the material that can go with any design choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cabinet looks great in my home and matches my decor, which is why I got it. The instructions were clear (with words!) and all the pieces were labeled really well. The piece itself is super heavy! It also comes with a light preinstalled and it has 3 dimmer settings which are touch controlled by simply touching one of the handles to change the brightness or turn it on/off. Super cool!! But, my little issue is with the drawer - it hits too close to the bottom of the cabinet which makes it rub on the bottom piece so, the laminate might come off of that area in the future. Also, the doors don’t really come together the best in the middle. There’s a large gap even though I adjusted the hinges out as much as possible. Also, make sure you adjust the hinges (C screw) out all of the way before trying to close the doors, otherwise they will rub because the default position is way to close to the pivot point. Overall, I would recommend because it really is a nice cabinet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with the Ameriwood Home Sherman Curio Cabinet! My boyfriend tackled this adventure solo and he had it put together in around two hours. He said it should definitely be a two person job (I was at work) so please be more patient than he was and wait for a helper. Tools are not included, but all you really need is a screwdriver, he did use a drill which made it easier. The glass shelves are a beautiful touch and easy to install. The coolest feature is that the light is touch activated by tapping the left handle. The storage drawer is a great touch and it’s spacious enough for whatever you want to hide. The piece is sturdy and feels completely solid once assembled. The white oak finish is stylish and fit perfectly in my home office. This will be a piece I cherish for years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So they recommend you put this together with two people but I'm solo so I only had myself. It took me a few hours but I work slow and like I said if you had two people it would be a little bit faster but really not that much faster. As far as the material, it's still pressed particle board. Sure it looks pretty but it's still particle board. So be careful when you tighten up your screws. Also, if you're not a fan of cam locks, you're in trouble because they're all over the place in this thing. The design is not great. The cam locks really are holding it together. As far as the storage capacity, it's very good. There's lots of storage and it has three glass shelves which is nice. The other thing that is really nice is the glass doors. They are really, really heavy. Of course that's a bad thing when you're putting it together because you really need another person to hold the door while you screw in the hinges. All in all it's not a bad little cabinet but it's still cheap board with a cheap cardboard back so be careful again when you screw it in because if you screw it too tight it will split. If you get it on sale I highly recommend you buy it. If you have to pay full price I would go elsewhere
