Featuring a decadent velvet fabric, Sun Zero Amherst Curtain Panels add luxe appeal to any room of your home. Equipped with hidden back tabs for easy hanging on standard curtain rods up to 1.5" in diameter. Sun Zero Extreme Blackout™ Thermal Lining is laboratory tested to block out 100% of light, reduce outside noise by up to 40%, and decrease energy lost through your windows by up to 40%. Comfort is optimized with thermal properties that help keep summer heat and winter chill out of your home. Built-in hidden back tabs on reverse side allow for easy slide-through installation on curtain rods up to 1.5" in diameter. Hang in your entertainment room to eliminate screen glare and reduce distracting outside noise, or in your bedroom for enhanced privacy and a sounder, more uninterrupted sleep. Q: Is the Pearl color a pale grey or what? I did not understand your other answer. Is it more light yellow like off-white? I really don't want to hassle having to return it.

A: Thank you for your inquiry, Barb. The Pearl and the Off-White color are the same. The pearl colorway is off-white hue. Not a bright white.

A: Any packaged curtains are wrinkled when they arrive, you just have to iron them. They are beautiful once done

Q: What is the back fabric color on the gray panels? Also is what is the difference in the pearl color and off white?

These off white curtains are tan-beige. The app is selling and showing a completely different color than what shows up. In fact the app has two “off-white” selections. Someone made a big mistake. They were also promised to be delivered in less than a week and it took over two weeks to arrive along with being NOT WHITE. Waste of time through and through.

We are THRILLED with these curtain panels! Once the shipping wrinkles were steamed out, they looked rich and luxurious, appear much more expensive than they are. They aren't a true velvet, but by look and feel you wouldn't know they weren't. The white exterior-side layer insulates from the cold winter air; we have these hung at our sliding glass patio doors and can REALLY feel a difference! These are a true blackout curtain as well, and are a very heavy weight. The back tabs made it easy to hang them without the annoyance of drapery hooks, and when open they form perfect pleats. I would highly recommend these to anyone needing a good quality curtain panel to keep out light, and keep the heat/cold out!

Im actually shocked at how amazing these are — they are heavy, velvety, and block out light really well. They truly look and feel like much more expensive curtains, and yet they were $10 a panel!! They really look like $300 curtains when they’re all done and steamed. The only thing is that they come VERY wrinkled, but spending some time with a steamer will solve that - in the attached pic the 3 left panels are steamed and the far right panel is not.

I just got them so may update this for quality, but the off-white is a light-ish tan. It is not off-white. They’re straight up tan lol. Luckily, the room they’re being hung in is a dark neutral taupe, so they may work anyway.

I ordered these in the Dark Blue for my dining room. I ordered the pearl white 83in length for a small guest room. They are very similar to the ones I love in my dining room and made by the same company. They wash up nicely in the washing machine, truly darken the room and are nice and heavy in weight. Warning: The 63in pearl white are not made by the same company, different fabric and are more a light silver in color. (bought this length for a different room and will address in a different review)

I ordered my first two dark blue panels a few years back for my one dining room window. I loved the set in my dining room so much I ordered four more for my bedroom after we had new windows installed. The quality is the same with zero difference even a few years later. They are not a true velvet but have a nice soft velvet look to them. They wash up wonderfully in the washing machine. They are heavy in weight. They truly darken the room for those looking for a black out curtain. Especially, if you use a black out rod.

These gorgeous curtains are such a bargain. They are truly blackout curtains, letting 0 light through. The back tab mounting makes the thick material hang just right, pleating with ease between each tab. When they arrive, the panels are folded so are slightly wrinkled. A quick steam refresh in the dryer takes the wrinkles right out and they are ready to hang. I have ordered two sets of these for my dining room and love them.
Ikea has a better curtain for cheaper...

Not as described. Gives a velvet appearance but is more like fuzzy cardboard. The curtains have some weight and thickness to them however the quality is just not there. IKEA has better quality curtains than this for almost the same price (there’s only one panel included). Will be returning ASAP and ordering from IKEA.

Pros: light blocking, color works for my room, folded tightly in packaging, vert wrinkled. Cons: NOT velvet but flannel. Feels like the diaper changing pads I used for my kids 40 years ago. I am keeping because they will work for my bedroom as I think I won’t be able to really find affordable velvet light blocking curtains.
