Here's why: The USB-A port on the Anker charger is designed for charging devices that use a USB-A connection. The SanDisk Sport MP3 player likely uses a micro-USB or mini-USB connector. You would need a USB-A to micro-USB or mini-USB cable. Even with the correct cable, charging compatibility isn't guaranteed. While many devices can charge from a standard USB-A port, the Anker charger is optimized for delivering power to devices that negotiate higher charging speeds via USB-C PD (Power Delivery). The MP3 player is not designed for this type of fast charging, and while it will probably still charge, it may not charge at the optimal speed or may not charge at all. The adapter also features a port for the standard USB cable. this charger works and I am currently using it to charge my portable blender. This also comes in handy if I leave my larger / longer, MacBook charger at home.

I was so shocked when I first used this because my phone was at 5% and about 10 minutes later it reached 25%. I usually have to wait an hour for my phone to get to a good percentage. In our home we have not reserved this charger as one that we use when we need our phones charged in a jiffy. Before I go out, I put my phone on this charger and when I am ready to head out the door, it is fully charged. I even stopped charging my phone overnight and instead charge it when I wake up because I know, with this charger, it will charge up in no time. I will definitely be buying more for our home and even for others in my family as these are great gift ideas. Everyone can always use a charger so why not!

Great value. The charger that’s in this package is the “323” 32 W one. (The charger cable that came with it is pretty nice also. It’s the braided type, the plastic bases are nice and thick and larger than on the wire that comes with iPhone (15) and the wire itself is thicker as well. (I am using it for my new iPhone 15 and have other things plugged into the regular usb simultaneously.. everything is flawless)
