I was so excited for this version of Anne of Green Gables because I love Rifle Paper Co products and the Rifle Paper Co artwork on the cover is just lovely. However, the quality of the publishing leaves something to be desired – almost as if an editor didn’t go through the copy before it went to print. I’m reading along with my daughter on a different digital version of the book, and this version contains a lot of typos, missed words, and other little oddities. Also, only a minor issue since it’s a Canadian story, but this version uses the Canadian spelling of words (programme, colour, harbour), which is not a big deal, but slightly confusing to my 7-year-old. Overall, I don’t regret buying it, but do wish a tad more care had been put into the production of this printing.
