I bought this rug in ivory/rust. It is not ivory or rust, but I love the colors. They are: Deep Rose; Cream; Mi-green and Darker Green; Tan; Grey. So the border is Deep Rose, Next to that is tan; next to that is grey; next to that (the center) is cream. I wouldn't call the colors pastel...I would have sent it back if the colors were pastel. The colors really pop and go well together. Low pile, but not flat - nice and thick feeling on the feet. From the picture, you would never guess what the colors really are. I have seen the brown, and it is a dull brown - not as pretty as the "ivory."
