The game will work on a switch in the UK but they would need an North American account to setup and activate the code. Physical Games do not require a code unless you plan to use DLC. all of it was super good worked said i would get code in 4 hours got it a minute after purchase also the price is 20$ when people sell this edition or codes for over 100$
